The diagnostic approach

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We start by finding exactly where points are lost, in rules, in analysis or in writing.

  2. 02

    Rebuild

We strengthen understanding of the law so it holds up under unfamiliar fact patterns.

  3. 03

    Perform

04 · About

Hey there, I’m Bazil.

A passport, Mandarin calligraphy, a fencing mask and foil, and travel postcards on a linen table

Your new Chief Hype Officer on your legal education journey. I’m an attorney and legal scholar by trade.

I passed the Uniform Bar Exam with a top 91st-percentile score (302) and graduated as a merit scholar, one of the youngest in my class, from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. And I did it without taking the LSAT.

I’ve served as a law clerk for the Ghanaian Supreme Court, co-authored a casebook presented at Oxford and Cambridge, and been a visiting scholar at Fudan University. From serving as a Legal Fellow at Scale AI to co-authoring interdisciplinary research in Psychology Today, I love breaking complex legal frameworks into clear, actionable ideas.

I’m fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, and once conversed in Russian and French too. I played competitive tennis and fenced, earning national honors and the chance to represent Team USA internationally.

Whether it’s AI ethics, the law and the mind, or coaching the next generation to ace the bar, I’d love to connect.
